Ping and Lily make a collection of exquisite handmade lampshades, cushions, wall art, gifts and accessories; each piece is a lovingly handmade and delightfully unique. Careful consideration is given to every piece of fabric cut and placed, making sure the blend of colour and texture is carefully balanced, evidence that each piece has been made with love, care and passion.
Colourful Liberty fabrics and coordinating threadwork on neutral linen backgrounds evoke scenes from the English countryside and include butterflies, birds, flowers and feathers. This is delicate, playful, fresh and highly original work, which beautifully complements both contemporary and traditional homes, bringing nature indoors.
Richard Green produces both landscapes painted ‘en plein air’ and still life studies in oil. His recent still life paintings aim to project the essence of the subject so that the painting speaks to the viewer. The compositions lean from figurative to the semi-abstract.
