Woodlands is between Netley Marsh, Ashurst and Cadnam. Junctions 1 & 2 (M27) are close by. Woodlands Road connects Ashurst and Netley Marsh. House/studio next to Gamekeeper Pub.

My work has been described as being different, challenging, ambiguous and thought provoking.

I’m haunted by ideas of endless time and space. My images draw on the not unreasonable conclusion that beyond our small and (currently) green planet there is a potential for many different landforms, lifeforms, structures, artefacts, cultures, beginnings and endings. These will be written into the fabric, geology and history of other planets and places over time. I’m not providing answers but I am asking the viewer to speculate and consider should they want to. Perhaps in doing so, there can also be a reflection on our own planet at a critical time in its history.

Imagery comes from my imagination and draws on my travels (on planet earth!), on my interest in history, geology and astronomy and on the work of other writers and artists.

Visits will be socially distanced, and face masks will be worn. Images will be interesting!

Gravel drive and two steps.

Street or adjacent pub parking.

Opening times

Between the 15th and the 31st of August I am inviting anyone interested to visit my studio. Please phone or text my mobile number. I will not be available all the time so it’s essential to book a time that suits.
