Ruth Facey: 'My new work is focused on exploring landscape through mixed media, with collage and ink detailing. Taken from my own photographs, they reflect the form and contours enhanced by light. Compact and distinctive they allow the eye to wander and experience these paperscapes.
I also work with wire to capture form and then reveal the shadows created. I like observing the ‘nearly not there’ from these constructions.
